Australia’s national innovation network for age services today announced its Experts-In-Residence (EIR) program. This initiative will boost innovAGEING’s knowledge capacity to provide a leading voice to the age services industry as it continues on its reform journey.
“We are excited with the 18 experts for in this program, and innovAGEING aims to give a forward-looking and progressive perspective on organisational challenges in the age services industry, says Merlin Kong, Head of innovAGEING.
Experts are drawn from innovAGEING’s:
“As an innovation network, much of our focus is on helping the industry to increase its innovation capacity. This involves looking at ways to better respond to changing consumer wants and needs, developing and implementing competitive business models, and scaling a person-centric mindset across organisations.
“In meeting these goals, we have curated and established an expert community with world-class knowledge in human-centred design, gamification, robotics, block chain, dementia care, the internet of things, aged care finance, innovation strategy, social innovation, crowdsourcing, and creative ageing.
Some initiatives that the program will be supporting include:
“It’s a challenging time for the age services industry, but we’re optimistic about the future. Part of innovAGEING’s role, through our EiR’s, is to help facilitate and guide our industry to this positive future-state.
